Where do Gabbeh rugs come from? In Persian, Gabbeh means raw or natural. Woven by the Ghashghai nomadic tribe in Iran's Fars province, Gabbeh rugs are the most famous nomadic rugs in Iran and refer to a rug with somewhat coarse and very primitive patterns.
